Phoebe and Zoë Harrington are passionate emerging dance artists, photographers, and nature enthusiasts. They graduated from York University’s Dance program in June of 2023, receiving their honours bachelors of fine arts. In the past few years, they have worked on many York University performances. They were the Co-Artistic Directors of Bloom 2023 and were also members of the York Dance Ensemble. Phoebe and Zoë had the pleasure of dancing in the remount of Stephanie Lake's Colossus in association with TOLive at the Meridian Arts Centre, Toronto. And worked alongside Rock Bottom Movement in the remount of DINO. All these experiences have only deepened their love for dance and performance. They are looking and eager for more great opportunities to create meaningful art. Now focusing on contemporary, improvisation, and choreography. They look forward to expanding this love for dance while incorporating their other passions like photography, visual arts and film.Step into a world of creativity and inspiration by booking your appointment with us today. We are twin sisters from Paris, Ontario with more than twenty-two years of dancing experience. We’re multifaceted artists and graduates of York University’s dance program. We worked on incredible productions in school and have led creatively as directors. We have done work with outstanding dance companies in Ontario, including Rock Bottom Movement and Guelph Dance. We have most recently been seen on stage with Toronto’s Unapologetic Dance Company for their work in In Their Time III. And are currently dancers with Fergus’s Dance & Heart.
We are grounded in our contemporary dance practices, and our strong dance influence can be seen in the aesthetics of our other artistic pursuits: Photography, visual paintings, collages and other visual designs are a montage of our character, our sweeping motion, and our spatial arrangement.
We are advocates and dedicated to our volunteer work with David Suzuki’s Butterfly Way Project. We know the importance of natural and native gardening, the health of local ecosystems, and its pollinators. Including the wellbeing of Canada’s unwavering Monarch population.
Nature enthusiasts, yoga instructors and most recently dance teachers. We love to explore many paths, broaden our skills and expand the boundaries of our artistic careers.
